Art can have many narratives. Or it can have none at all and be merely decorative. Some images require the viewer to interpret the artist’s narrative by deciphering the symbolic imagery incorporated into the composition of the work.
But it is when the artist editorializes their imagery, either subtly or bluntly, that the dialogue on the chosen topic becomes arousing and impassioned.
Atelier Rosal is exhibiting works by artists who have something to say about the cultural and political landscapes that currently exist.
